The Covent Garden Hotel's Sake Martini – Recipe
For something a little unexpected, sample this refined martini-inspired drink. It is delicate, fragrant and easy to sip, and matches wonderfully with parmesan chunks.
Sake Martini
Makes a single portion
30ml gin – opt for a crisp gin variety
15ml Lillet Blanc – an aromatic French aperitif wine
15ml sake – a light, medium-bodied one, ideally
Combine the gin, Lillet Blanc, and sake in a cocktail shaker, toss in plenty of ice cubes and mix for half a minute until cold. Strain into a well-chilled martini glass and serve.
