An extensive extended cruise around Australia has been cancelled following the fatal incident of an older female passenger who was left behind by the vessel on a remote island.

The passenger had been walking on the tropical location with fellow passengers from the vessel, but separated from the excursion for a rest. The vessel left without her and went back several hours later after the ship staff realised the lady was unaccounted for.
